TenDO's &TenDONT's of Dance Class

1. Do wear proper attire to appropriate class

-Don't be barefoot in a hip-hop class or wear overly, baggy sweatpants to ballet!

2. Do stay alert in class. Be a sponge and take in as much as you can.

-Don't yawn and look uninterested. (Keep that under wraps even if you're tired)

3. Do thank the teacher personally with a handshake after class.

-Don't pass up a chance for feedback! (And plus it's polite to say thank you)

4. Do respect others taking class.

-Don't shove and push for a spot! 99% of the time, the teacher will allow everyone a bit of mirror time. (And if not, get to class early for a spot in front)

5. DO be on time for class, rehearsals, & call-times!

-Don't be late! Every dancer knows being at least 20 minutes early is being on time, and being "on time" is being late!

6. Lastly, DO have fun in class! Though it's a competitive dance world, the studio is the place for mistakes, growth, laughs, & living. It's for you!
